Company frets chilling effect over raid
The president of the latest business raided over the hiring of illegal workers said the sweeping actions by the Sheriff's Office may create a chilling effect on Chandler and other East Valley companies.
"Just to walk in and see sheriffs deputies going through filing cabinets make you feel like a criminal, even though you've done nothing wrong," Garrison said. "Enough of these raids and it's almost as though as an employer you're living in fear of who you hire."
The law, which went into effect Jan. 1, requires employers to verify newly hired workers' Social Security numbers, running them through a federal database. Companies that knowingly hire undocumented immigrants face civil penalties, up to the loss of their business license.

“Asheville has been fighting this for years. This effort is new, but the fight’s not new,” he said. Operation Illumination is patterned after the city police plan to end prostitution.

Judicial Watch Sues US Gov't. On Behalf of Imprisoned Border Agents
Ignacio "Nacho" Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean, the two Border Patrol agents shamelessly prosecuted by the U.S. government for shooting and wounding a Mexican drug smuggler, Oswald Aldrete-Davila, on February 17, 2005, have not been forgotten by many Americans -- such as attorney's from Judicial Watch -- who are actively pursuing their release from captivity.
"You may disagree with me, but I believe the legal action taken against these Border Patrol veterans was the Bush Administration's way of sending a message to all US Border Patrol agents: Don't do your jobs. If you do, you'll be punished"

MANY ILLEGALS BELONG TO SPY, TERROR ORGANIZATIONS OR DRUG CARTELS
Those who advocate providing millions of such illegal aliens with any sort of amnesty need to understand a basic fact: The corrupt bureaucrats of the Mexican government would, no doubt, be more than willing to provide individuals who were citizens of Mexico and, perhaps, citizens of even other countries, with "Certificates of Good Conduct" for those who had enough money, that would enable criminals and terrorists to seek to enter the United States and then apply for documentation to establish false identities by bribing Mexican government officials.
