Idaho Patriot becomes New Idaho State Director for F.I.R.E. Coalition
For the first time the citizens of Idaho have their own representative on the staff of a Major Activist Network. The F.I.R.E. Coalition ( Federal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Coalition ) is a well known and Highly respected coalition of People and organizations across the United States, all fighting to Control our Borders and for Enforcement of our Immigration Laws.

Our new Idaho State Director says "I would like to invite all of Idaho citizens concerned about illegal immigration in our state to join me in making our voices heard. We need to stop the hemorrhaging of our tax dollars spent on illegal aliens and their children. As far as I am concerned, this is taxation without representation.
Illegal immigration is far from a 'victimless crime' and crime from identity theft, physical abuse, sexual abuse, etc...is on the rise. We need numbers of citizens to join in and voice their desire for strong immigration enforcement laws in Idaho. Our governor is not interested in the plight of our citizens-this must change. For further information, please contact me at IDFIRE@firecoalition.com "

Judicial Watch in Idaho
Judicial Watch has filed a request, under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for all records relating to the petition from the Mexican government for a consulate in Idaho
A concerned group of Idaho residents have contacted Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C. based foundation promoting “transparency, accountability, and integrity in government, politics and the law”, in response to the possible location of a Mexican consulate in our state. Chris Farrell, the Director of Research and Investigations at Judicial Watch, graciously agreed to be of assistance after learning the consulate was due to be sited in Idaho without the knowledge, input or consent of the citizens, but with the knowledge of many state elected officials, including Senator Crapo.
Judicial Watch has filed a request, under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for all records relating to the petition from the Mexican government for a consulate in Idaho.
The Mexican consulate will have a direct and major impact on legal residents and their families. Unfortunately, no one in our state government bothered to educate Idaho’s citizens.
Mexican consulates are of concern because of their interference in the enforcement of immigration laws and criminal law and their advocacy for Idaho taxpayer funded financial subsidies.
According to Mark Krikorian, Director of the Center for Immigration studies, Mexican consulates have been permitted by the Department of State to violate Article 55, of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations: ( See article below for Article 55....Reb )
United States Senators, Craig and Crapo, United States Representatives, Sali and Simpson and Governor Otter have refused to protect Idaho citizens from what will surely be a costly and destructive plan for our state. They did not have the courage to tell the citizens about the possibility of a consulate for almost 5 years. Yet, activists with ties to the Mexican government gathered 10,000 signatures along with letters of recommendation from business, local and state officials to petition the Mexican government for a consulate!
Legal citizens were not given the option of a counter-protest to the Department of State at the same time the Mexican government was petitioning for a consulate in Idaho, thanks to those in government who did not educate or ask for our input.

Idaho airport a hub for deported illegal immigrants
Sunday, March 30, 2008
Associated Press
TWIN FALLS - Many undocumented immigrants rounded up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials make a stop in Twin Falls before being deported or taken to hearings elsewhere.
Steven Branch is ICE's Salt Lake City-based director of detention and removal and his office handles an average of 3,750 removals per year from Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Montana.
The Twin Falls Times-News reports that since March 2003, immigration agents have arrested and detained 3,355 immigrants in six south-central Idaho counties.
Those who fight deportation and lose are sent home under a removal order. They face a felony charge if they return to the US.
Others are returned to their native countries and frequently return several more times to the U.S.
About once a week, an unmarked jetliner takes detainees to El Paso, Texas, or Phoenix, Arizona, for deportation hearings or transfer to their home countries.
Notice that in 3 years they have arrested nearly 3500 illegal aliens in just 6 counties. How many more are there and how many in the rest of the counties in Idaho ?
